M1A2 System Enhanced Program Version 2 (SEPv2) Abrams Technician Training: Mission/Contacts

Mission

The National Maintenance Training Center (NMTC) can train your ARNG Full-Time Maintenance Technicians in the Inspection, Troubleshooting and Repair of the M1A2 SEPv2 Abrams Main Battle Tank. NMTC has developed an 80 hour Training Package. The core fundamental teaching point of this course is focused towards training troubleshooting and diagnosis procedures along with major differences between the M1A1 and M1A2 SEPv2 Systems. This ensures the technician student leaves the course with the knowledge to adequately identify problems and implement correct repairs. This maintenance training is not MOS producing, but is quality instruction that will provide your ARNG Maintenance Technician with the necessary skill sets to maintain the M1A2 SEPv2 Abrams Tank systems. Prerequisite for attending this course is completion of the four-week, 160 hour M1 Abrams Course.

This course is in the ATRRS School Reservation System under School Code 922, Course Number 964-M1A2. For further information, contact the NMTC operations office of the NMTC at phone number 515-727-3579/3584, DSN 431-727-3579/3584. Mr. Mark Rushing is the POC for enrollment and Mr. Mike Roney is the POC for Technical Course Information.
