M2/M3 Bradley Technician Training: Mission/Contacts

Mission

The National Maintenance Training Center has been missioned by NGB-ARL-M to provide Maintenance Training and Instruction on the M-2/3 Bradley Fighting Vehicle to ARNG Maintenance Technicians. The training and instruction consists of a combination of Field and Sustainment level tasks, in Hull, Turret, and troubleshooting techniques. The course is designed for ARNG Maintenance Technicians that work at a CSMS, MATES, UTES, or FMS that have responsibility to repair M-2/3’s. The instruction is four weeks in length Monday through Friday 0700 – 1600 each day. There is no instruction on weekends. All instruction is a combination of classroom and hands on with the end item and special diagnostic gear.

The equipment used in the conduct of the instruction is a mix of Bradley Fighting Vehicle M-2A2 and the M-3A2ODS Version. As the force fielding moves to the all-ODS version, the ratio of ODS version BFVs will change to support the fielding plan.

Course dates may be found in ATRRS under School Code 922, Course Number: 964-BFBMI.
