Mission

These Soldiers receive detailed training of the Tactical Water Purification System (TWPS) and the Lightweight Water Purifier (LWP). Soldiers go over the PMCS using Technical Manuals (TM) before operating the TWPS / LWP in a real world application and learn to set up, operate, and disassemble the equipment in a controlled and field environment. The 92W Soldiers also receive drivers training on the HMMWV and PLS / LHS in order to transport the LWP and TWPS respectively. The 92W trainers evaluate each Soldier on tasks to include Set Up Water Elements, Produce Potable Water, and Dismantle Water Elements. NOTE: Prior planning must occur with the NMTC instructors in order to produce potable water with your 92W Soldiers.
