Mission

Whether you are a Support Maintenance Company (SMC), Field Maintenance Company (FMC) or a Maintenance Platoon in a Forward Support Maintenance Company (FSC), the staff at the National Maintenenance Training Center (NMTC) are prepared to provide your Soldiers with the best possible training on the latest equipment. The Soldiers will receive hands on training to enhance both the individual technical skills as well as the leadership skills necessary to complete the unit’s collective training requirements. No matter if the unit is part of the Brigade Combat Team (BCT) or a Sustainment Brigade. The Commander has full control over setting the units goals and objectives upon arrival at the center. The NMTC Staff will orient the training to support the maintenance related Mission Essential Task List. The NMTC Staff can train all maintenance platoons, sections, and teams in the field maintenance arena regardless of configuration. The NMTC Field Maintenance team is ready to support your training needs in automotive, ground support equipment, communication and electronics, allied trades and armament repair. The NMTC FM Staff stands ready to coach, teach, mentor and train your Soldiers
