Command Sergeant Major John H. Breitsprecker

Command Sergeant Major John H. Breitsprecker enlisted in the Iowa Army National Guard in Jun 1979, attending Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Gordon, Georgia.

Command Sergeant Major Breitsprecker has served in a variety of assignments in CA, CS and CSS units to include Gunner 81 MM Mortar Section Co A 1/133 INF, Unit Supply Sergeant 134th Med Co, Platoon Sergeant Co C 204th Med BN, Operations NCO 194th LRSD, First Sergeant Co A 224th ENG, Operations Sergeant 224th Eng BN, Operations Sergeant Major 67th Troop Command, Command Sergeant Major 554th QM BN, Operations Sergeant Major Joint Forces Headquarters, Command Sergeant Major Mentor / Team CSM Embedded Training Team 5-1-203rd CSS BN and currently assigned as the CSM for the 67th Troop Command Iowa Army National Guard.

His military education includes PLDC, Basic and Advanced Noncommissioned Officers Course, the Ranger Course, Airborne Course, Jumpmaster Course, and the United States Army Sergeant Major Academy. He is qualified as a Infantryman, Indirect Fire Infantryman, Combat Engineer, Medical Specialist, Unit Supply Specialist, and Tactical Wire Operations Specialist.
